About Charles Trotman

Dr Charles Trotman is CLA’s Senior Rural Business and Economics Adviser. He is responsible for all rural economic issues affecting the CLA’s membership as well as leading on telecommunications, rural development and rural tourism. Prior to joining the CLA in 2002, he worked in Brussels as an economic analyst and worked at the NFU.

This seminar will examine the potential impact of changes in the telecommunications sector on rural business development and look at the opportunities that effective telecommunications can offer to a diversified business. It will explore the need for a business to have effective telecommunications and establish how this can be done.
